Niuro connects projects with elite tech teams and supports long-term collaborations with leading U.S. companies. The selected candidate will join a contract/project-based engagement to contribute to a production Ember.js frontend application for a client project. This role emphasizes delivering features, fixes, and improvements quickly in a mature Ember codebase, with strong autonomy and collaboration across product and backend teams. The project seeks someone who can operate effectively in a remote, time-zone-conscious setup and contribute to architectural decisions where appropriate.

What You’ll Do
- Hands-on development on a production-grade Ember.js frontend application, delivering features and improvements with high quality.
- Maintain and enhance existing functionality, diagnose and resolve frontend issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with backend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to implement scoped requirements.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions, contributing to architectural and technical decisions when needed.
- Contribute to code quality, performance, and maintainability of the codebase.
- Align with European time zones, supporting synchronous collaboration during overlap hours.
Requirements
- Strong, senior-level experience with Ember.js in real-world, production environments.
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
- Proven experience working with existing/long-lived Ember codebases.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs (JSON-based services).
- Understanding of frontend architecture, performance, and maintainability.
- Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a remote setup.
- Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Availability to work 4 days per week with overlap in European time zones.
Nice to Have
- Experience maintaining legacy or large-scale Ember applications.
- Familiarity with frontend testing in the Ember ecosystem.
- Experience working in contract or staff-augmentation environments.
- Active participation in the Ember community (addons, open source, RFCs, talks).
- Experience mentoring or acting as a technical reference within frontend teams.
