The Problem

Compliance is a $50B global challenge. Enterprise legal and compliance teams spend a significant amount of time manually reviewing documents against policy, spotting regulatory risk, and signing off on content before go-to-market. It's painful and it's mission-critical.

We're building the infrastructure that makes this manageable at scale. You'll be working on systems that directly reduce risk and unlock productivity for some of the world's largest organisations.

The Role

As our first US based Engineer; you'll be the technical bridge between our product vision and our customers' reality.

You're a full-stack engineer who thrives at the intersection of innovation and execution, building our platform while staying connected to the teams actually using it.

You'll split your time between heads-down building (shipping code that matters) and being engaged with customers, understanding their pain points firsthand, iterating on features in real-time, and using that feedback to shape our product direction.

You'll own end-to-end technical decisions: designing systems, shipping to production, and iterating based on direct customer interaction.

This is high-autonomy work. You'll collaborate directly with our founding team, move at startup velocity, and have genuine influence over both our architecture and product roadmap.

• Design, architect, and ship full-stack features that directly solve our customers compliance challenges

• Own the technical relationship with key customers; implementing solutions, gathering requirements, and translating feedback into product improvements

• Build scalable services and APIs that power our LLM compliance platform while keeping the customer experience front and center

• Make high-impact technical decisions quickly, knowing that you'll be accountable to both our engineering standards and our customers

• Challenge assumptions on "why" and "how", you'll directly influence what we build and how we build it

Who We're Looking For

• You've built full-stack systems at meaningful scale; you're equally comfortable architecting backend services and shipping frontend code that customers interact with daily

• You're deep on one or more of: Go, Node.js/TypeScript, or Python, and you're fluent enough across the stack to own features end-to-end

• You understand APIs, distributed systems, and the tradeoffs between speed and reliability in production environments

• You genuinely enjoy working with customers; you're not just shipping features, you want to understand the human problem you're solving

The Software Engineer III is responsible for the development and maintenance of the company's software products. The Software Engineer is responsible for the development and maintenance of individual products. The Software Engineer III will design, develop, document, test, deploy, monitor, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications. • As a Staff Engineer, you will be a technical anchor on our core platform — driving architectural decisions that determine how we scale to serve enterprise finance and engineering buyers.

• Work with customers to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues:

What will you need to have?

• At least five years of technical experience as a Support Engineer, Systems Engineer, Software Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer in an enterprise software company

• At least four years of experience troubleshooting real-time production systems

• At least two years of hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure.

• Strong background in scripting or programming languages (Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, Bash, Powershell, etc.)

• Expert working knowledge in Linux/Unix and networking (TCP/IP)

• Professional experience working with networking tools like wireshark, tcpdump, etc.

• Experience in analyzing and debugging production issues at scale.

• Experience with alerting and monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, etc.).

The estimated gross base annual salary range for this role is $91,455 – $137,273 per year in New York, California, Washington, Colorado, and Rhode Island. Actual compensation may vary and is dependent on various factors, including a candidate’s work location, qualifications, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of Redis’ total compensation and competitive benefits package, which may include 401(k), unlimited time off, learning and development opportunities, and comprehensive health and wellness benefits. This role may include discretionary bonuses, stock options, commuter benefits based on location, or a commission plan. Salary history is not used in compensation package decisions. Redis utilizes market pay data to determine compensation, so posted compensation ranges are subject to change as new market data becomes available.

Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• 4+ years of Angular (2+) development, with mastery of HTML, CSS, ES6, and front-end tooling (e.g., NPM).

• Experience building SPAs and working with DOM manipulation and browser compatibility.

• Proven ability to implement design patterns such as observables, flow control, and error handling.

• 6+ years of Java/J2EE experience, including integration with RESTful services and RDBMS (SQL).

• Familiarity with automated front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of object-oriented design and algorithms.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The Role

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the server-side components of our applications. About the role

You'll own the backend for a live mobile F2P game and the AI agentic platform that powers how we operate it. Feature releases, live ops, monetization, analytics pipeline, reliability. Senior IC with real ownership from day one and a path to platform / tech lead as we scale. You work with our production systems serving real players and real revenue. The primary stack is TypeScript/Node.js (Fastify) with MongoDB, ClickHouse, Redis, and RabbitMQ. The AI tooling layer is Go. We use AI heavily as part of how we work.
