Social Media Manager TikTok and Founder
  • Once Upon a Farm
  • Los Angeles Metropolitan Area
exec education strategy customer support
Who You Are

You are a culturally plugged, TikTok-obsessed content creator and strategist who understands how to own TikTok content and TikTok Shop. You will drive Once Upon a Farm’s TikTok presence end-to-end—strategy, creation, publishing, and performance—while also developing and producing content for our co-founders. This role will have vendor resources, but must be able to execute content on their own as well. While this is a remote role, this candidate must be based out of Los Angeles, CA , NYC or San Francisco/Bay Area, CA.

The Task At Hand

This is a rare dual mandate: roughly half your time is building Once Upon a Farm’s TikTok into a high-converting Gen-Z and millennial destination, and the other half is working directly our founders to develop their own content. You will report to the Senior Manager of Social and collaborate closely with the broader Marketing and Creative teams.

Responsibilities

TikTok Strategy & Growth

  • Own our TikTok channel as the driver of primarily Gen-Z audience growth, with a secondary focus on Millennial parents, health enthusiasts, and athletes, to help Once Upon a Farm find niche markets to expand reach, brand awareness, and TikTok Shop revenue
  • Develop and execute a platform-native content strategy built around Once Upon a Farm’s product lineup, brand mission, and cultural relevance to young parents and Gen-Z consumers
  • Build and manage Once Upon a Farm’s TikTok Shop presence along with the E-Commerce team, driving traffic, conversion, and repeat purchase through shoppable content, live formats, and product integrations
  • Stay ahead of TikTok trends, sounds, formats, and creator culture to ensure our brand is consistently early, authentic, and on-platform
  • Partner with the Senior Manager of Social Media on cross-platform content strategy, ensuring TikTok content complements and amplifies Once Upon a Farm’s Instagram and YouTube presence
  • Work proactively within your budget to find and develop agencies and influencers who can create additional TikTok Content for the brand.

TikTok Content Creation & Production

  • Personally concept, shoot, edit, and publish much of Once Upon a Farm’s TikTok content—you are the creator, not just the director
  • Develop recurring formats and series that build audience loyalty and drive saves, shares, and follows
  • Create content spanning product storytelling, childhood nutrition education, brand values, and culturally relevant moments—all tailored for a TikTok-first audience
  • Capture real-time content at brand events, activations, and shoots with prepared concepts and shot lists, and direct on-site photographers and videographers to do the same with your art direction.
  • Brief and collaborate with the Partnerships & Influencer team to activate creators who extend OFarm’s TikTok reach and authenticity.
  • Own vendor selection, outreach, payment and execution for the TikTok platform including agencies, CGI creators and videographers.

Founder Content

  • Work directly with our founders to produce content, with a focus on TikTok and Instagram.
  • Work with Once Upon a Farm Brand team to proactively identify relevant brand moments in a timely manner, allowing you time to capture, execute and edit the content with founders ahead of launch.
  • Translate founders’ authentic personality, passions, and voice into platform-native content that resonates with their audiences, while reinforcing their roles as our founders.
  • Concept, produce, and edit content for Once Upon a Farm specific founder appearances—including product launches, campaigns, and brand storytelling moments—that works in concert with their personal channel’s content
  • Develop repeatable formats for founders that are engaging, sustainable, and distinctly theirs
  • Coordinate shoot logistics, prep shot lists and talking points, and ensure content is captured efficiently during Jen’s available windows

Performance & Optimization

  • Track and report on TikTok KPIs including follower growth, engagement rate, video views, TikTok Shop GMV, and conversion metrics
  • Translate performance data into actionable content decisions—double down on what works, kill what doesn’t
  • Partner with the E-commerce team to align TikTok content with promotional calendars and TikTok Shop campaigns
  • Present TikTok and Founder content performance to stakeholders in quarterly business reviews

In This Role, You’ll Bring With You

  • 4+ years of social media or content experience, with a significant portion focused on TikTok content creation and strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to grow a TikTok account and drive measurable business outcomes—including TikTok Shop—through original content
  • Deep, native understanding of TikTok’s algorithm, trends, and creator ecosystem; you consume the platform daily and can spot an emerging format before it peaks
  • Proven experience creating content for or alongside a public figure, founder, or talent—comfortable navigating the balance between authentic personal voice and brand alignment
  • Hands-on creator skills: you can concept, shoot (ideally on mobile), and edit (CapCut, Adobe, or equivalent) a high-performing TikTok video yourself
  • Experience in CPG, beauty, food, lifestyle, or wellness brands strongly preferred
  • Strong copywriting instincts with the ability to adapt voice across Onec Upon a Farm’s brand and founders’ personal tone
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and talent; professional, organized, and discreet
  • Highly self-directed—you manage your own production schedule, publishing calendar, and performance reporting without hand-holding
  • Must provide a portfolio that includes TikTok content you personally created and can speak to the strategy and outcome behind
  • Must demonstrate measurable TikTok results: follower growth, viral content, Shop-driven revenue, or equivalent
  • Must be comfortable on-screen and directing talent in a low-fuss, high-output production environment
  • Previous exposure to cross-functional work between Sustainability and People & Culture preferred
  • This role must be based out of Los Angeles, CA , NYC or San Francisco
  • Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Compensation

  • Full-Time, Salaried, Exempt
  • The anticipated salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $110,000.00. Admissions Advisor MasterClass Executive
  • MasterClass
  • San Francisco, San Francisco, California, United States
hr technical writer customer support

Who we are:

MasterClass is the platform where the world’s best come together so anyone, anywhere, can access and be inspired by their knowledge and stories. We put you in the room with the creators, thinkers, makers and leaders who have changed the world, so that you can change yours.

MasterClass Executive is our selective, cohort-based program for senior professionals learning to lead in the AI era, taught by world-class operators and academics in collaboration with the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and OpenAI. Admission is competitive: applications are reviewed individually, and spots in each cohort are limited.

About the Role:

We're hiring an Admissions Advisor as a temporary, full-time employee to support our next enrollment cycle. You'll spend most of your day on the phone and in the inbox with applicants and admitted candidates — answering questions about the program experience, helping them weigh the value of enrolling, and guiding them from admission to enrollment ahead of cohort deadlines. You'll also support employer-sponsored enrollment: equipping candidates to make the case to their company and responding to inquiries from managers, HR, and L&D teams.

This is a high-volume, goal-driven role during our busiest enrollment windows. The ideal candidate is a natural on the phone — consultative, warm, and credible with senior professionals — and genuinely fluent in both AI and the business-education landscape. You know what programs like ours cost, what the alternatives promise, and how to have an honest conversation about fit and value.

 What You Will Do:

  • Own a high volume of admissions calls — scheduled consultations and proactive outreach with applicants and admitted candidates — answering questions about the curriculum, live sessions, AI Labs, in-person intensive, time commitment, and cohort experience
  • Help prospective enrollees evaluate the program's value: speak confidently and accurately to outcomes, program fees, and payment options, and position MasterClass Executive honestly against the alternatives candidates are weighing (executive education, MBA programs, certificates, and cohort-based courses)
  • Guide admitted candidates from decision to enrollment with timely phone and email follow-up through each enrollment window, identifying and removing blockers before deadlines
  • Run point on employer-sponsorship communications: respond to sponsorship inquiries, provide candidates with materials to secure company support (manager emails, ROI summaries, program overviews), and flag multi-enrollee company interest to our partnerships team
  • Manage your pipeline with clean notes and reliable follow-through; meet daily and weekly contact and response-time goals
  • Log the questions, objections, and sponsorship themes you hear and share them weekly with the admissions and marketing teams to sharpen FAQs, call guides, and email copy
  • Provide surge coverage during peak moments: post-webinar follow-up, enrollment-deadline outreach, and inbox support

About You:

  • 3+ years in admissions or enrollment advising, inside sales, account management, or another phone-forward consultative role — executive education, higher ed, edtech, or premium consumer experience is a plus
  • Genuinely energized by phone time: you listen first, handle objections without a hard sell, and are comfortable with 20–30+ meaningful conversations a day
  • A strong writer who can run a high-volume inbox with responses that are crisp, warm, and never read like a template
  • Conversant in AI: you follow the space, use the tools yourself, and can speak credibly with senior professionals about how AI is changing their work (no technical background required)
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to navigate uncertainty
  • Fluent in the business-education landscape — executive education, online MBAs, certificates, and cohort-based programs — and how buyers compare them
  • Organized and self-directed: strong CRM hygiene, pipeline discipline, and comfort being measured against clear goals
  • Adaptable in a fast-moving environment where call guides, offers, and priorities evolve week to week
  • Available across U.S. time zones, including some early-evening hours when candidates are most reachable

Employment Details:

  • Temporary, full-time employment via our staffing partner TCW Global with an anticipated initial assignment of approximately one month; MasterClass may extend the assignment in its discretion based on cohort needs and business demand
  • Employment is at will; nothing in this posting guarantees employment for any specific period or any extension of the assignment
  • Remote (U.S.)
  • Temporary, Full-time, ~40 hours/week, nonexempt (overtime eligible)
  • Pay: $28/hour base pay, plus eligibility for variable incentive pay, subject to terms of a written incentive plan provided at the time of hire (with estimated total on-target earnings of up to $12,000 monthly on target earnings, inclusive of base pay)
  • Benefits: The selected candidate will be employed through our third-party staffing partner, TargetCW, and is not eligible for MasterClass employee benefits (including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans). Sick leave and other benefits required by applicable law will be managed directly by TargetCW.

At MasterClass, we believe we put our best work forward when our employees bring together ideas that are diverse in thought. We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, genetic information, veteran status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local law. In addition, MasterClass will provide reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities.  If you have a disability or special need, we would like to know how we can better accommodate you.

We showcase employee spaces, share design stories, and promote growth through a culture of flexibility, storytelling, and opportunity. From onboarding to day-to-day, we help you bring your style to life.

Reports to: Director of Engineering

Location: Remote, United States

\n

About the Role

Our retail platform is scaling across multiple brands and needs a senior engineer who can own a service area end-to-end — setting technical direction, writing production code daily, and raising the bar for the developers around you. As Software Engineer (Team Lead), you will serve as the technical owner for a core area of our retail service cloud, designing approaches, contributing code, and mentoring engineers while driving the roadmap from legacy replacement through new feature delivery.

In your first 6–12 months, success means you have shipped meaningful improvements to the platform, replaced targeted legacy services, and established clear technical standards that the team follows without prompting.

This is a lean team. You will own a lot, move fast, and make decisions with full end-to-end responsibility.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as technical owner for your area or service within the retail service cloud, setting architecture direction and maintaining quality standards
  • Design, build, and ship features — reading and writing code daily alongside the team
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges across the stack, from profiling and refactoring to scaling the platform
  • Replace legacy code and services with modern, maintainable solutions and optimize the overall stack
  • Build frameworks and reusable patterns for upcoming projects across the portfolio
  • Plan and communicate product roadmaps, triage sprint tickets, and push back on requests when technical tradeoffs demand it
  • Mentor junior engineers through code review, pairing, and hands-on problem solving
  • Help build the team by driving developer productivity and contributing to hiring decisions

Required Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, React, and Node.js
  • Proficiency / production experience with API Gateway, AWS Lambda, S3, DynamoDB.
  • Comfortable with IAM and CloudWatch for debugging + least-privilege design
  • Experience with Python and Django or comparable server-side frameworks
  • Track record of owning a product or service area technically — architecture decisions, code quality, and delivery outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and elevate other engineers while remaining a significant individual contributor
  • Experience replacing or modernizing legacy systems in a production environment
  • Comfort triaging competing priorities, planning sprints, and communicating technical details to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong opinions on code quality and engineering best practices, held loosely enough to find the best solution collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with retail, e-commerce, or multi-brand platform environments
  • Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and microservices patterns
  • Prior experience in a technical lead role on a small, high-output team

Why Join

The people who do best here are builders. They take ownership, move fast, and want to see the direct impact of their work.

  • Cross-Functional Impact: Your technical decisions will shape services that power multiple brands across the portfolio — the scope of your work is visible and immediate.
  • Skill Building: Work alongside senior engineers who will challenge your thinking, with daily exposure to modern frameworks, platform-scale problems, and AI-augmented tooling.
  • End-to-End Ownership: Own your service area from architecture through delivery — no waiting for approvals or handing off to another team.
  • Competitive Benefits: Paid time off policies, 401(k) match, medical/dental/vision and a variety of supplemental policies, and employee discounts across our portfolio of brands.

Interview Process
  1. Recruiter Screen - A 30-minute conversation with our recruiting team to align on the role, your background, and what you are looking for.
  2. Hiring Manager Interview - A deeper conversation focused on your technical leadership experience, how you approach ownership of a service area, and team dynamics.
  3. Technical / Coding Challenge - A hands-on coding exercise to assess your problem-solving approach, code quality, and comfort working in the stack.
  4. Possible In-Person Interview - Details and logistics will be arranged with your recruiter.
  5. Reference Checks - Conducted in parallel with the final stages where possible.
  6. Offer - We move quickly for the right candidate.

Interview process is subject to change. Any updates will be communicated promptly and clearly.

Preguntas frecuentes
