OUR ORIGIN STORY ð
In 2011 SkySlope started as an idea born at the kitchen table of our CEO, with just him and two others. Headquartered in Sacramento, California, we have since grown out of our previous 3 offices and many of our close to 150 employees are spread all across the United States. Those 150 employees support close to 300,000 users across 5,000 offices nationwide and now in Canada as well. Included in that is 8 out of the 15 largest Real Estate Brokerages in the nation.
But, despite being happy with what weâve achieved we know that as industry leaders in our space thereâs a lot of work left to be done. All of the growth and success that has happened is a result of us obsessing over building cutting edge software that makes the Real Estate world a better place. We know this only happens by hiring people who donât just come up with out of the box ideas but hiring people who actually see those ideas through and bring them to life. As weâve grown, weâve been fortunate enough to hire plenty of people who possess that quality and realize itâs equally important to hire people who can pair that skill with empathy, collaboration, and a keen sense of urgency. If youâre looking to join a company where you can have real impact and surround yourself with an incredible team of people then look no further.
SKYSLOPEâS CORE VALUES ðªð»
These are the principles that helped us get to where we are and they are the principles that will guide us to where we want to go in the future. You can apply them to your professional life, your personal life, to any business and any situation. In no specific hierarchy, our core values are:
Awareness | Execution | Obsession | Ownership | Humility | Radical Candor | Urgency | Greatness | Inches I Fun

About the role: We are looking for a Data Analyst III to join our team and to help elevate the way we leverage data across the organization. While this role includes traditional data retrieval and reporting, we're looking for someone who goes beyond fulfilling requests â someone who proactively identifies trends, surfaces insights, and brings forward recommendations that help teams make better decisions before they even know to ask. Experience or curiosity around AI-assisted analytics is a plus, but this is first and foremost a strong data analyst role.

You'll work closely with stakeholders across commercial, product, and marketing to ensure data is reliable, scalable, and meaningful.

Healthcare is in crisis and the people behind the results deserve better. With more and more data coming from wearables, lab tests, and patientâdoctor interactions, weâre entering an era where data is abundant.
Junction is building the infrastructure layer for diagnostic healthcare, making patient data accessible, actionable, and automated across labs and devices. Our mission is simple but ambitious: use health data to unlock unprecedented insight into human health and disease.
If you're passionate about how technology can supercharge healthcare, youâll fit right in.
Backed by Creandum, Point Nine, 20VC, YC, and leading angels, weâre working to solve one of the biggest challenges of our time: making healthcare personalized, proactive, and affordable. Weâre already connecting millions and scaling fast.
Short on time? TL;DR
You: Can define what should be measured, how it should be modeled, and how those insights should shape product and company decisions.
Ownership: Youâll own Junctionâs highest-leverage statistical, modeling, and evaluation work across diagnostics, clinical workflows, and AI-enabled product development.
Scope: This is not a pure IC modeling role and not a reporting role. Youâll set the methodology, research roadmap, and decision framework for how Junction uses data to drive product, clinical, and business outcomes.
Salary: $180,000 â $220,000 + equity
Location: Fully remote (EST timezone only)
Why we need you
Junction sits in the flow of high-value diagnostics and clinical data. As the company grows, our advantage moves beyond just having data to having the ability to turn it into reliable intelligence improving product decisions, customer outcomes, and the performance of the business.
Some of that work exists today, but it is not yet owned as a coherent function. Models get built. Analyses get done. Experiments answer local questions. But we need someone who can define the broader scientific and analytical system: what we should measure, what methods we trust, where modeling creates real leverage, and how that work translates into products and decisions that hold up outside a demo.
Weâre hiring our first Data Scientist to take ownership of, and establish that standard.
This role will lead Junctionâs most important modeling, experimentation, and evaluation work. Youâll partner closely with data, product engineering and leadership teams to drive the analytical roadmap by which Junction can leverage differentiated value from data.
What youâll be doing day to day
Own the research and modeling work underlying Junctionâs highest-priority data science opportunities across diagnostics, clinical workflows, and AI-enabled product features
Define rigorous frameworks for measurement, experimentation, and causal evaluation so we can distinguish signal from noise and make decisions we can defend
Lead development of predictive models, segmentation approaches, risk or routing logic, and other statistical systems that directly inform product and business strategy
Build the analytical foundation behind customer-facing features â from model development through to validation and performance tracking
Partner with engineering and data engineering to ensure models and analytical systems can be put in production, are reliable, and useful in real workflows
Establish how Junction evaluates data-driven and AI-enabled features, including methodology, quality thresholds, monitoring, and performance review
Communicate complex technical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including tradeoffs, limitations, and implications for action
Requirements
Strong track record of leading high-stakes analytical work that influenced product, operational, or business decisions
Deep foundation in statistical inference, experimental design, observational analysis, and model evaluation
Strong Python and/or R skills, with experience working on large, messy real-world datasets
Experience building predictive or decision-support models in production or near-production environments
Experience partnering closely with engineering to move work from analysis or prototype into deployed systems
Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels: defining the roadmap while also getting into the details when needed
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to explain methods, findings, and tradeoffs to executives as well as technical peers
Comfort operating in a startup environment with ambiguity, limited structure, and high ownership
Nice to have
Experience designing, executing, and publishing research studies
Experience with HIPAA, PHI, or other regulatory clinical frameworks
Deep familiarity with modern data tooling and production workflows across warehouses, orchestration, and transformation layers
Experience developing, deploying, and designing evaluation frameworks for LLM or AI-powered features in customer-facing products
Expertise directly working with healthcare, diagnostics, lab data, wearable data, and other clinical data
Experience applying causal inference methods, such as diff-in-diff, propensity scoring, or instrumental variables in practice
What this role isnât
Not an analytics role focused on dashboards, reporting, or one-off analysis
Not an ML platform role â you wonât own infrastructure or tooling
Not a good fit if you mainly want to experiment with models or AI ideas without being accountable for how they perform in production
Not a good fit if you struggle with ambiguity. Knowing what to work on is part of the job
How you'll be compensated
Salary: $180,000 â $220,000 + equity
Your salary is dependent on your location and experience level
Generous early stage options (extended exercise post 2 years employment)
Regular in-person offsites, last were in Tenerife and Miami
Monthly learning budget of $300 for personal development and productivity
Flexible, remote-first working - including $1K for home office equipment
Monthly budget of $150 to use towards a coworking space
25 days off a year + national holidays
Healthcare coverage depending on location

\nAbout MoonPay
Hi, weâre MoonPay. Weâre here to onboard the world to the decentralized economy by making digital money move as universally and effortlessly as the internet.
Why?
Because crypto, stablecoins and blockchain arenât just technologies. Theyâre tools for global financial empowerment. They give people and businesses more control over their money, their digital assets, and their future, opening access to legacy financial systems that have been out of reach for many.
What we do
MoonPay is a unified payments platform for digital currency. We make it easy for anyone, anywhere, to buy, sell, swap and pay in digital currencies as easy as sending an email. That simplicity is intentional, our focus is reducing complexity so people can participate confidently, without needing to be crypto experts. We power the entire flow between fiat and crypto end to end, with compliance, identity checks, fraud prevention, and settlement all built in. This end-to-end approach reflects how we work internally: with accountability, rigor, and trust built into everything we ship.
Proven at scale
Trusted by over 30 million customers and over 500 ecosystem partners, our secure, enterprise-grade platform is driving mainstream crypto adoption worldwide. Behind those numbers are millions of real people and organizations relying on MoonPay every day.
We collaborate with innovative brands and projects to build secure, scalable solutions for a blockchain-powered future. This is an opportunity to help shape systems, not just scale them. And weâre committed to doing it right. Fully licensed in the U.S. and regulated across the UK, EU, Canada, and Australia, because trust and compliance are non-negotiable.
But weâre just getting started. Weâve launched a consumer app that makes crypto accessible, intuitive, and usable for everyone, and itâs growing fast. Weâre iterating every day to make it the best it can be.
If you believe financial freedom should be for everyone. If you believe in building a fairer, more open financial system - we want you with us. To build systems that benefit all, we need contributions from all, regardless of background.
Come build the future of payments and the decentralized economy with MoonPay. Letâs make financial freedom and autonomy the new normal.

Data is at the core of modern business, yet many teams struggle with its overwhelming volume and complexity. At Atlan, weâre changing that. As the worldâs first active metadata platform, we help organisations transform data chaos into clarity and seamless collaboration.
From Fortune 500 leaders to hyper-growth startups, from automotive innovators redefining mobility to healthcare organisations saving lives, and from Wall Street powerhouses to Silicon Valley trailblazers â we empower ambitious teams across industries to unlock the full potential of their data.
Recognised as leaders by Gartner and Forrester and backed by Insight Partners, Atlan is at the forefront of reimagining how humans and data work together. Joining us means becoming part of a movement to shape a future where data drives extraordinary outcomes.
We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join our Engineering & Product organization. This isn't a traditional "pull the data for this dashboard" role. You will be a strategic partner to our engineering and product leaders, acting as the "eyes and ears" of our roadmap. You will find the signals in the noise, anticipate bottlenecks before they happen, and define the metrics that guide our journey into an AI-first world.
The future of BI and analytics is shifting from "static dashboards" to "agentic insights." At Atlan, we believe that metadata is the fuel for this transition. As a Senior Product Analyst, you aren't just measuring what happened yesterday; you are helping us define the future of how AI interacts with data.
You will be embedded deeply within Engineering and Product, working as a proactive force. You donât wait for a ticket to be assignedâyou hunt for the data patterns that tell us where our product should go next.
Be AI-Native: Leverage AI and LLMs not just in the product, but in your own workflow. You will help define how we measure the efficacy of Atlan AI, agentic workflows, and the "readiness" of our customersâ data for the AI era.
Proactive Signal Discovery: You wonât just report on KPIs; you will find the hidden signals. Whether itâs identifying a drop in connector performance or discovering a "power user" pattern in a new feature, you bring the "why" to the "what."
Guide the Roadmap: Work side-by-side with Engineering and Product leads to pressure-test our strategy. Your insights will directly influence what we build next, ensuring we are solving the most high-leverage problems for our users.
Full-Stack Ownership: From instrumenting new events in our codebase to building complex models that predict product-led growth to jumping into any cross functional data projects, you own the data lifecycle for any data problems
Strategic Storytelling: Translate complex engineering metrics into strategic narratives for our leadership team, helping us understand the health of our platform and the velocity of our innovation.
AI Visionary: You have a clear perspective on how AI is changing the data landscape. You understand that the future of analytics isn't just better charts, but autonomous context and intelligent automation. You worked with not just structured data but have started getting your hands dirty with unstructured data as well and LLMs+data projects.
The "Owner" Mindset: You are intensely proactive. You thrive in "chaos" and love the challenge of building a function from the ground up. You don't wait for a problem to be assigned; you find patterns and problems and bring ideas and solution.
Analytical Powerhouse: You are a master of SQL and a programming language such as python, with experience in the modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, etc.). Youâve worked with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude etc) and know how to instrument for growth. But you are well aware of how these can be leveraged and are evolving with AI.
Engineering Empathy: You understand how software is built. You can speak the language of engineers and understand the trade-offs between technical debt and feature velocity.
2+ Years of Experience: Youâve spent significant time in high-growth SaaS environments, ideally within data, infrastructure, or developer tools.
Why Is Atlan for You?
At Atlan, we believe the future belongs to the humans of data. From curing diseases to advancing space exploration, data teams are powering humanity's greatest achievements. Yet, working with data can be chaoticâour mission is to transform that experience. We're reimagining how data teams collaborate by building the home they deserve, enabling them to create winning data cultures and drive meaningful progress.
Joining Atlan means:
Ownership from Day One: Whether you're an intern or a full-time teammate, youâll own impactful projects, chart your growth, and collaborate with some of the best minds in the industry.
Limitless Opportunities: At Atlan, your growth has no boundaries. If youâre ready to take initiative, the skyâs the limit.
A Global Data Community: Weâre deeply embedded in the modern data stack, contributing to open-source projects, sponsoring meet-ups, and empowering team members to grow through conferences and learning opportunities.
As a fast-growing, fully remote company trusted by global leaders like Cisco, Nasdaq, and HubSpot, weâre creating a category-defining platform for data and AI governance. Backed by top investors, weâve achieved 7X revenue growth in two years and are building a talented team spanning 15+ countries.
If youâre ready to do your lifeâs best work and help shape the future of data collaboration, join Atlan and become part of a mission to empower the humans of data to achieve more, together.
We are an equal opportunity employer
At Atlan, weâre committed to helping data teams do their livesâ best work. We believe that diversity and authenticity are the cornerstones of innovation, and by embracing varied perspectives and experiences, we can create a workplace where everyone thrives. Atlan is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, disability, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

\nServe as the primary dashboard monitor during your shift â continuously watch the GTO Operational Dashboard in Datadog, detect anomalies by correlating signals across APM, logs, metrics, synthetic tests, and Real User Monitoring, and determine whether alerts warrant an incident ticket or can be resolved through immediate investigation.
Triage and investigate production incidents â create incident tickets in JIRA Service Management, perform initial technical investigation using Datadog (traces, logs, infrastructure and application metrics), determine blast radius and likely root cause domain, and route to the correct team (Product SRE, Infrastructure SRE, or Engineering) using the smart routing model.
Own lower-severity incidents end-to-end from detection through resolution â diagnose, execute runbook procedures, and resolve without escalation where possible. Escalate promptly when an incident is unresolved within defined thresholds or requires a code-level fix.
Support the TSO Lead during major incidents as the technical right hand in the war room â surface real-time data (error rates, impact scope, deployment history, related alerts), maintain the incident ticket with live timeline entries and linked evidence, and execute mitigation actions as directed.
Draft incident communications under TSO Lead direction, including internal Slack updates, stakeholder notifications, and customer-facing status page updates (status.xsolla.com). Support clear, timely communication throughout the incident lifecycle.
During non-incident periods, analyze incident trends, recurring issues, and production bugs â compile data from Datadog, JIRA, and Slack, identify patterns, and contribute findings to regular reports for product and engineering teams.
Publish health reports of critical apps periodically.
Compile incident timelines and draft initial PIR documents for Post-Incident Review preparation. Track PIR action items post-session and flag overdue items to the TSO Lead.
Build and maintain operational automation (alert enrichment scripts, incident templates, Slack workflows, dashboard widgets) and contribute to runbook development â documenting new resolution procedures so they can be repeated by any Operations Engineer on any shift.
Conduct structured shift handoffs covering active incidents, at-risk services, upcoming deployments, and follow-up items. Participate in knowledge transfer sessions with SREs to continuously expand independent resolution capability.
Cover for the TSO Lead during vacations, absences, or emergencies â including severity classification, escalation decisions, stakeholder communications, and basic Incident Commander functions.
4+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, production operations, NOC, or technical operations in a high-availability environment. Experience with platforms that handle payments, e-commerce, SaaS, or gaming workloads is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and investigation skills â ability to take an alert or user-reported symptom and methodically trace it through the stack: application logs, APM traces, infrastructure metrics, database queries, and network paths.
Hands-on experience with Datadog (or equivalent observability platform: Grafana, Splunk, New Relic, Elastic) â navigating APM, building log queries, reading infrastructure dashboards, interpreting SLO burn rates, and configuring monitors and alerts.
Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Python, Go, or Bash. You will write automation scripts, build operational tooling, and work with APIs.
Clear written and verbal communication skills in English â ability to write incident tickets, investigation notes, Slack updates, shift handoff reports, status page communications, and PIR drafts that are clear, concise, and useful to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Working knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure acceptable) â understanding of pods, deployments, services, ingress, node health, and how to investigate Kubernetes-related production issues.
Understanding of SLOs, error budgets, and burn-rate alerting â knowing what a multi-window burn-rate alert means, how error budgets deplete, and how SLO breaches translate into incident severity.
Experience with incident management tooling: JIRA or JIRA Service Management, PagerDuty or OpsGenie, Slack, and Confluence.
Experience with or strong interest in AI/ML-assisted operations: anomaly detection, alert correlation, predictive monitoring, or automated remediation.
Comfort with 24x7 shift-based operations as part of a follow-the-sun model with handoff overlaps. Weekend on-call (rotating) is required.
Experience in the gaming, payments, or fintech industry â particularly environments where transaction processing, checkout flows, or player-facing services must meet strict uptime requirements.
Familiarity with Datadog Service Catalog, synthetic monitoring, and RUM (Real User Monitoring).
Experience with distributed systems debugging: tracing failures across microservices, understanding cascading failures, and reading distributed traces end-to-end.
Exposure to database operations (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka) at a level sufficient to investigate connection pool exhaustion, replication lag, slow queries, or queue backlogs during incidents.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling (GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Helm) â enough to correlate recent deployments with production issues and identify rollback targets.
JIRA Service Management administration experience: workflows, automation rules, SLA timers, and queues.
ITIL Foundation certification is a plus but not required â practical experience matters more.

At OakNorth, weâre on a mission to empower the UKâs most ambitious businesses. Since 2015, weâve lent over $21 billion across the UK and US, helped create more than 58,000 new homes and 36,000 new jobs, and supported hundreds of thousands of personal savers â all while fuelling the UK economy.
Team Mission ð
We power OakNorth's relationshipâled lending with modern, modular tools across origination, underwriting, execution, and portfolio monitoring.
\nAbout Us
Weâre OakNorth Bank and we embolden entrepreneurs to realise their ambitions, understand their markets, and apply data intelligence to everyday decisions to scale successfully at pace.
Banking should be barrier-free. Itâs a belief at our very core, inspired by our entrepreneurial spirit, driven by the unmet financial needs of millions, and delivered by our data-driven tools.
And for those who love helping businesses thrive? Our savings accounts help diversify the high street and create new jobs, all while earning savers some of the highest interest on the market.
But we go beyond finance, to empower our people, encourage professional growth and create an environment where everyone can thrive. We strive to create an inclusive and diverse workplace where people can be themselves and succeed.
Our story
OakNorth Bank was built on the foundations of frustrations with old-school banking. In 2005, when our founders tried to get capital for their data analytics company, the computer said ânoâ. Unfortunately, all major banks in the UK were using the same computer â and it was broken.
Why was it so difficult for a profitable business with impressive cashflow, retained clients, and clear commercial success to get a loan?
The industry was backward-looking and too focused on historic financials, rather than future potential.
So, what if there was a bank, founded by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs? One that offered a dramatically better borrowing experience for businesses?
No more what ifs, OakNorth Bank exists.

Following the acquisition of Sandata, the platform processes electronic visit verification (EVV), visit records, and billing data for a significant portion of Medicaid home care services in the United States.
As Medicaid programs grow in scale and complexity, states and managed care plans face increasing pressure to ensure program integrity and protect public funds. HHAeXchange is expanding its Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) capabilities to help customers identify billing anomalies, improper payments, and potential fraud within their data.
The Sr FWA Data Analyst will play a key role in building these capabilities by analyzing large healthcare datasets to identify suspicious billing patterns and translating those insights into scalable detection tools. Working closely with product, engineering, and payer stakeholders, this role will help shape how fraud detection is embedded within the HHAeXchange platform. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of Medicaid regulatory requirements, the end-to-end revenue cycle, and the operational realities of both payers and providers in the home and community-based care space.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates located in the EST or CST time zones within the US only.

About MoonPay

Our platform puts information in motion, streaming in near real-time so companies can react faster, build smarter, and deliver experiences as dynamic as the world around them.
It takes a certain kind of person to join this team. Those who ask hard questions, give honest feedback, and show up for each other. No egos, no solo acts. Just smart, curious humans pushing toward something bigger, together.
One Confluent. One Team. One Data Streaming Platform.
The Partner Applied Solutions (PAS) team is part of Confluentâs Partner & Technology Group, which exists to drive cross-functional innovation, productivity, and partner success through deep event streaming expertise.
PAS engineers focus on building partner-enabling tools, frameworks, and systems that bridge the gap between core products and customer solutions. These are engineered assets designed to scale, evolve, and help partners and Confluent teams deliver robust, consistent, and verified event streaming solutions.
The team operates as a small, high-impact engineering group: pragmatic, technical, and deeply integrated with Confluentâs partner and product ecosystem.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building productized platforms, owning end-to-end flows, and working closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners to shape how the Confluent ecosystem scales.
Design and build confluent marketplace platform services that power listing management, entitlement, provisioning, and lifecycle events for partner offerings.
Implement end-to-end flows for how customers discover, evaluate, and adopt marketplace solutions directly from Confluent Cloud.
Integrate with internal and external systems (e.g., billing, identity, metering, partner APIs) to provide a seamless marketplace experience.
Develop tools and APIs for partners to onboard, validate, publish, and maintain their listings with clear quality and compliance guardrails.
Own the lifecycle of features and services from design and prototyping through rollout, observability, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate closely with Product, Partner Engineering, and GTM teams to translate partner and customer needs into platform capabilities that scale.
Contribute to engineering standards and architecture for the marketplace, ensuring services are maintainable, secure, and resilient.
Participate in design and code reviews, help shape technical direction, and mentor peers where appropriate.
Strong backend engineering experience, ideally in Java (experience with Go, Python, or similar languages is a plus).
Solid understanding of distributed systems and service design, including APIs, data modeling, and asynchronous workflows.
Experience building productized internal or external platforms (marketplaces, app stores, partner platforms, or similar).
Familiarity with event-driven architecture and streaming systems (Apache Kafka / Confluent Cloud experience is strongly preferred).
Strong grounding in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Comfort working with security, identity, and integration surfaces (authentication/authorization, webhooks, partner APIs).
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to align and deliver across Product, Engineering, and partner-facing teams.
Experience with commercial or technical marketplaces, app stores, or SaaS ecosystems.
Hands-on experience with Kafka connectors, data integration systems, or data products that would commonly appear in a marketplace.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tooling (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.) and CI/CD automation.
Familiarity with durable execution platforms such as temporal
Experience working with ISVs, cloud providers, or ecosystem partners, especially where platform capabilities underpin external offerings.
Background in developer experience or platform tooling, enabling external or internal users to build on top of your services.

Customer data is the fuel that drives all modern businesses. From product analytics, to marketing, to support, to advertising, advanced data analysis in the warehouse, and even sales â customer data is the raw material for each function at a modern business.
For highly regulated businesses in healthcare, itâs always been a challenge to harness that customer data and get it to the marketing and analytics tools that require it while following patient privacy lawsâ¦.until now.
Something as simple as running ads to get more users is simple for an e-commerce of software company to do. But common web analytics and advertising tools collect sensitive user identifiers and healthcare information automatically. Those same tools are not HIPAA compliant.
We provide a layer of data governance to make current web analytics tools HIPAA-compliant. For analytics, our customers can continue getting the insights they need to improve the patient experience. For marketing, Freshpaint safeguards health information while helping our customers promote access to care through popular advertising platforms like Facebook, Google, and others.
In short, we help healthcare marketers promote access to care and safeguard patient privacy at the same time. This is an important, complex problem in a massive market (healthcare is 20% of the US GDP).
Our customers manage their customer data with:
Privacy Platform. We help healthcare providers automate their websiteâs + appâs HIPAA compliance, and safeguard patient data. This is our core product today
Future additional product lines! Our core product provides a platform that we're building marketing applications on top of.
Weâre fully remote. If you strongly value in-person work, Freshpaint is likely not the best fit for you. Even though we donât care where youâre located, we only hire within the US. Many of our team is concentrated in various metro areas like SF or NYC. To balance out our remote-ness, we gather the team 2x times per year for offsites. Weâre backed by leading investors including Y-Combinator, Intel Capital, and angel investors like the Head of Data from Slack, Head of Data at LinkedIn, and more.
Freshpaint was founded by web analytics veterans who realized how hard it was for highly regulated companies to collect and use customer data in a compliant way. We started as part of Y Combinatorâs S19 cohort and have been focused on enabling healthcare companies collect, safeguard, and activate patient data since.
In 2022 the government issued updated guidance around HIPAA, basically making our software a requirement to use for healthcare companies. As a result, we're one of the fastest growing software companies on earth right now.
Our team has deep analytics and growth experience, with all of us coming from high-growth companies like Heap, Pendo, Iterable, Quantum Metric, and Retool. If you value lots of freedom and ownership in your work, interfacing with customers, and working on a product with high customer impact, then Freshpaint is your home.
At Freshpaint, we believe that strong Engineering teams are built of individuals who
Solve problems, not tickets â Jump into unfamiliar territory and learn what's needed to move the team forward
Think like owners â Focus on delivering measurable business impact rather than completing tasks
Elevate others â Actively mentor, unblock, and celebrate teammates, knowing the team's wins are your wins
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Data to join one of our Product-oriented teams. As Freshpaint has grown, our Products have become more sophisticated and increasingly leveraged multiple sources of data. Weâre seeking a Software Engineer who has competencies in Data and Data Engineering to help us shape the next generation of Freshpaint Products. We believe thereâs a big opportunity ahead, and this person will contribute to the teamâs success by building new products and by influencing how we incorporate data into our Product offerings.
Use your expertise to build Software Products that rely on data
Deliver business outcomes by either directly owning, or guiding others to build reliable and scalable products
Mentor engineers and analysts on best practices for data quality, reliability, testing, monitoring, and documentation

Join customer calls (both internal teams and external users) to hear firsthand what problems they're solving and what features actually move the needle
Design and refine data models that underpin product functionality while implementing monitoring systems to ensure reliability and performance
Collaborate with our Data Guild to define the organizationâs data strategy influencing decisions on tooling, architecture, and engineering standards
Solve problems side-by-side with team members through a combination of pairing and solo work
If this sounds like you, we would love to chat!

About Empassion
Empassion is a Management Services Organization (MSO) focused on improving the quality of care and costs on an often neglected âAdvanced illness/ end of lifeâ patient population, representing 4 percent of the Medicare population but 25 percent of its costs. The impact is driven deeper by families who are left with minimal options and decreased time with their loved ones. Empassion enables increased access to tech-enabled proactive care while delivering superior outcomes for patients, their communities, the healthcare system, families, and society.
\nOur Engineering Philosophy
At Empassion, we believe that the highest form of engineering is achieved in building simple yet robust solutions to solve complex business problems.
Our philosophy is guided by five core principles
Maintainability First: We stay closely attuned to industry trends but choose our tools with the discretion that healthcare technology demands. We reach first for battle-tested, well-supported technologies that allow us to deliver business value quickly and ensure reliability for the patients and clinicians that depend on us. Our engineers take pride in solutions that are built to last and simple to maintain.
Mindful Innovation: As technical experts, we must lead the charge in uncovering opportunities for innovation and automation across our business. We encourage the use of emergent technologies when they provide a clear, measurable impact for our most pressing business problems. Our engineers are innovators who can justify their choices with expertise and professional wisdom.
Extreme Ownership: Our engineers carry a deep sense of personal accountability for everything they ship. We arenât satisfied with just completing the requirements in a ticket; we partner with stakeholders and dive deeply into business problems to ensure we are building the right thing, often identifying gaps in requirements well before they become problems in production. We view thorough documentation and rigorous self-testing of our code as non-negotiable parts of the jobânot for the sake of process, but because we refuse to leave the success of our work to chance.
Business-Focused Engineering: We don't measure success by the frequency of releases or the number of tickets closed, but by the outcomes that we drive for our clinicians and patients. We expect every engineer on our team to possess a keen "business sense"âto understand the why behind a request before diving into the how. It is our responsibility to develop a deep understanding of our stakeholdersâ pain points and proactively propose technical solutions that address them with accuracy.
Simplicity over Complexity : We strive to write software that is simple, clear and approachable, allowing new engineers to open pull requests within their first week on the job. We are careful to avoid speculative abstractions, experimental design patterns, and other forms of over-engineering that make our systems difficult to understand, debug, and maintain.
The simple task of buying software, services, or tools at work has become hopelessly complicated at even the most innovative companies in the world. Today, enterprises spend $120T+ per year globally (>30 times larger than annual consumer e-commerce spend) and rely on vendors more than ever before to run their businesses.
Our cofounders started Zip in 2020 to address this seemingly intractable problem with a purpose-built procurement platform that provides a simple, consumer-grade user experience. Within the last 4 years, Zip has created a new category and developed the leading solution in this $50B+ TAM space. Today, the worldâs leading companies like OpenAI, Snowflake, Anthropic, Coinbase, and Prudential rely on Zip to manage billions of dollars in spend.
We have a world-class team coming from category-defining companies like Airbnb, Meta, Stripe, Salesforce, Apple, and Google. With a $2.2 billion valuation and $370 million in funding from Y Combinator, Tiger Global, BOND, DST Global, and CRV, weâre focused on developing cutting-edge technology, expanding into new global markets, andâabove allâdriving incredible value for our customers. Join us!
The Identity team is responsible for the platforms that manage user access and data confidentiality for customers. As a Software Engineer on the team, you will take on a dynamic role, developing core customer-facing identity products, such as authentication/authorization, user account security, and encryption key management. We move quickly to solve a wide range of complex technical and product challenges. While we are an experienced team that can provide constant guidance and mentorship, we value engineers who can autonomously scope and solve complex technical challenges.
Design and build product features for enterprise customers, such as AI-powered anomaly detection for payment fraud and account takeovers, granular access control and identity management, and bring-your-own-key encryption.
Work closely with cross-functional product and customer-facing teams to understand requirements and ship thoughtful solutions.
Work closely with our customersâ security teams (e.g., Discover, Snowflake, and Anthropic) to understand their needs and learn how they assess risk.
Build guardrails, tooling, frameworks, and automation to empower software engineers to ship secure changes and prevent vulnerabilities from reaching the main branch.
Design and build scalable frontend applications and components.
Minimum 1+ years of experience in a software engineering role. This role requires software development experience.
Experience with web application and API development in production environments. At Zip, our stack includes Python, Typescript, React, and GraphQL.
Experience in enterprise SaaS, fintech, software security best practices, and compliance frameworks is a bonus, but not required.
The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $180,000. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.
At Zip, weâre committed to providing our employees with everything they need to do their best work.

Security is at the foundation of OpenAIâs mission to ensure that artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity. The Security team protects OpenAIâs technology, people, and products. We are technical in what we build but are operational in how we do our work, and are committed to supporting all products and research at OpenAI. Our Security team tenets include: prioritizing for impact, enabling researchers, preparing for future transformative technologies, and engaging a robust security culture.
About the Role
